Animals are a wonderful source of poetic inspiration. From the obvious observation of pet antics to the more detailed animal research, I loved writing these poems. Some poems were written overseas like Narwhal, Swans and flamingos. And others were a reworking of a real live family incident like the kookaburra at a seaside picnic!
